Good Afternoon dear readers,
It is once more that time of the month when I share with you the lovely books I received via mail throughout the previous month, and I am happy to say that March brought more books than February, so there is a wider range of books from which you can choose 🙂
If you’re new to this type of post, I’ve decided to offer on a monthly basis an ebook copy of one of the books I’ve received through the mail during that specific month to one reader. So far two readers already received copies of The Price of Pride by Abigail Reynols and Nine Ladies by Heather Moll.
To apply to this month’s giveaway all you have to do is leave a comment on this post telling me you’re interested. This is becoming a cool tradition and one of my favorite posts of the month 🙂
I’ve received 3 Austenesque books and bought a few non-austeneque books myself. In fact, they are nonfiction and I am looking forward to reading them too. Lately I have been feeling the need to read different things, instead of just regency romances and the balance I’ve found seems just right. This way I don’t get tired of the romance stories, get to read different styles and broaden my knowledge 🙂 I’m currently reading Brave New World from Aldous Huxley and loving it!
But I digress…going back to our giveaway, during March I received the below books in the mail, and the winner may choose an ebook copy of one them:
The Recovery of Fitzwiliam Darcy by Lucy Marin – Source: Gift from publisher
Dangerous Magic by Monica Fairview – Source: Gift from author
Dare to Refuse Such a Man by Mary Smythe – Source: Gift from publisher
Direito a Ofender (Portuguese Edition) by Mick Hume – Source: Purchased
Woke (Portuguese Edition) by Tatiana Mcgrath – Source: Purchased
A Célebre Rã Saltadora do Condado de Calaveras | Rikki-Tikki-Tavi (Portuguese Edition) – Source Gift from publisher
Good Luck Everyone!
Oh, Rita, I am very interested in “Dangerous Magic” by Monica Fairview. Thank you for offering your generous giveaway.

I’m liking it so far, it’s a bit different from HBO’s adaptation, but more interesting I would say. I’m only in the begging though, so I’ll let you know what I thought in about a week 🙂 Good Luck in the giveaway!

Reading various fiction genres and non-fiction helps me keep from getting burned out on specific types of books, too. Glad you’re enjoying your books latest. I’ve read Dangerous Magic and loved it.
Happy Easter, Rita!
Please don’t put me in the giveaway.

Happy Easter Sophia! I’m glad I am not alone in this need to read different genres, sometimes it feels I am the only one who needs a break from regency romance 🙂

As you know I don’t qualify for the giveaway but I just have to comment!
I did read Dare to Refuse Such A Man as it was posted and really enjoyed it so I look forward to getting a copy of that and the other two P&P books.
I’m gradually starting to work my way through the possibly angsty books on my kindle with loved rereads in between, so I will get round to buying more soon.
I’m still quite happy with my Darcy and Elizabeth stories so will continue with those but good luck with your reading Rita! (Over the years I’ve read many different genres including sci fi, horror, romance, mystery, in fact I think I read most novels in my local and in my school library apart from Westerns!)

Hello, Rita, I like to balance my Austenesque reads with history and biographies. I am currently reading “The Greater Journey: Americans in Paris” by David McCullough and “The Romanov Sisters” by Helen Rappaport. I am also thinking about going through my old pile of Regency paperbacks this summer and re-reading my favorites. I am interested in the giveaway, and thank you for doing it.

Lots of great choices! Thanks for the chance to win. In March I read nothing but Regency romance and retellings, and it was great, but I understand the need to read something different. I read Brave New World ages ago and remember liking it.

I am still half way through because with lower restrictions in place now I am reading less and socializing more but I am liking it. It is very different from the tv show, and I think it is better in some ways, but I I’ll let you know my final opinion once I finish it 🙂 Good Luck in the giveaway Alexandra.
