Welcome to the Audiobooks dedicated page at From Pemberley to Milton!
I absolutely love reading books, but I confess I am completely rendered to Audiobooks! They are my company during the commutes to work and lately I can’t do any chores at home without listening to one audiobook. When I started listening to Audiobooks there weren’t many readers interested in them, but lately I have been receiving several messages asking me for audiobook suggestions, so I thought it would be nice to have all my audiobook reviews in one single place. This is a work in progress and I hope to continue increasing the list of audiobooks reviewed.
You should know that for audiobooks I’ve created my own rating system, so instead of rating them with stars, I rate them with a Bennet sister. Here is the rating system:
Elizabeth Bennet – Perfect! There is no way this narration could have been better, everyone wants to get to this level.
Jane Bennet – Pretty good! The narration is lovely and adorable but it isn’t the Elizabeth Bennet everyone wants to be.
Mary Bennet – Not bad, but not that good either. The narration is pretty much like Mary: simply plain.
Kitty Bennet – It is not very good, but there is still hope for improvement.
Lydia Bennet – It is hopeless case. It will never get better.
