Freebies & Books on sale

Good Afternoon everyone,

Since I got back to work it has been hard to have as much time as I would like to dedicate to this blog, so I haven’t posted any book sales list lately. However, I had some spare time this weekend and thought I could try to compile whatever I could find on sale once more.

I’ve decided to remove from this list all the books I already mentioned in previous lists because some readers told me it was confusing to know which ones were new sales and which were books they already acquired based on the old lists. So if you’d like to see what’s been on sale for some time now, please do check my previous lists. This one will not include everything on sale, only the latest ones that I could find on my research.

It is smaller than previous ones, but I hope it is useful nonetheless 🙂 Once more, if you know of any other JAFF book sale, please, do share that with everyone on the comments 🙂

Book Blurb:
She was everything he ever wanted…if only she was not his best friend’s sister.
As any honourable gentleman knows, a friend’s sister is untouchable. It is a code that Fitzwilliam Darcy has never had an issue with until now. However, Elizabeth Bennet might be enticing enough to risk not only disinheritance from his father and the displeasure of his entire family but also the loss of his best friend’s trust.
To Elizabeth, her brother’s friend, Will, is as pompous as the day is long. However, he is also enigmatic, and soon, she finds herself drawn to his complexities. Unexpectedly, she falls hard and fast for this young heir of a vast estate, but at sixteen, she has never been in London society before and is new to all its deceptions and games. Will she be able to decipher who to trust or will her heart pay the ultimate price?
.
Book Blurb:
When doing the right thing goes utterly wrong.
Elizabeth Bennet cannot rid herself of the strange feeling she has whenever she is around Mr. Darcy—and it has nothing to do with the fact that he is irresistibly handsome and intelligent. Almost nothing, anyway. People around town are disappearing, and no one seems to know why. And who was that woman Mr. Darcy was hiding at the Meryton Inn? Elizabeth has questions, and Mr. Darcy refuses to answer them.
Fitzwilliam Darcy hates deception and disguise, but to protect his cousin, that is precisely what he must do. It troubled his conscience to keep certain matters from his aunt, Lady Catherine de Bourgh, even temporarily. Lying to Elizabeth Bennet, however, is robbing him of his sanity. Of all the women in Hertfordshire who might challenge him over missing persons, why did it have to be the one who had captured his heart and mind?
In the absence of good information, dark suggestions soon populate the town’s imagination. And when another young lady goes missing, will the town turn on Darcy, or will the truth come out—no matter who it exposes?
.
Book Blurb:
The best-laid plans of mice and men did NOT have a wife!
In this sweet Regency variation of Jane Austen’s Pride & Prejudice, Fitzwilliam Darcy’s eldest son sets out to seek a bride. Alexander Fitzwilliam Darcy is the spitting image of his father—in looks, temperament, and his inability to impress a woman not particularly wanting to be impressed.
Darcy, against the loving advice of his intelligent wife, decides to help his son along. In the process, the forever kind of love our dear couple has for each other is displayed as tenderness meets stubbornness and affection meets determination.
Come along for the bumpy ride between Darcy & Elizabeth as love blooms at Pemberley—or does it?
Book Blurb:
Large, awkward, unlovable, and destined to fail — that is who William Collins has always been told he was, and while he might have accepted the first three monikers, he’s worked hard to ensure the last one does not become true.
Kitty Bennet has never lacked for attention from gentlemen, but while she’s proficient at flirting, she has never had her heart touched by any of the potential suitors who have sat in Longbourn’s sitting room.
That is her heart was never touched until now when the awkwardly endearing heir to Longbourn takes up residence in her home. But how does one encourage a gentleman to love her when he’s seemingly unaffected by fluttering lashes and demure looks?
And how can someone as inept, as Collins thinks he is, ever win the heart of a lady as charming as Kitty Bennet?
It will take determination and a little help as well as the realization that sometimes the battle for the heart is played out in the mind.
Master of Lonbourn is part of Leenie Brown’s Dash of Darcy and Companions collection of Pride and Prejudice inspired novellas. If you like well-written sweet romance featuring an unlikely hero who must blossom from ugly duckling to majestic swan, then you will love this story about Collins overcoming the edicts of his father to become what he wishes to be while claiming the lady who is the desire of his heart.
So, put the kettle on, grab your copy of Master of Lonbourn, and slip into a world of sweet and endearing romantic indulgence today.
Book Blurb:
Mrs Bennet misses her daughters now they are all married. Therefore, she decides to invite them to Longbourn for Christmas. The only difficulty, as her husband points out, is the enmity between Darcy and Wickham.
Mrs Bennet arrives at an ingenious solution. They will have two Christmases. One on Christmas Day for Lizzy, Jane, Kitty and Mary and one on Boxing Day, for Wickham and Lydia alone.
They enjoy a festive day with four of their daughters, but when a certain uninvited Reverend arrives, Darcy and Lizzy decide to stay at a coaching inn to make room for the new arrival. At the inn they meet Wickham and Lydia. Lydia is in early labour and gives birth to a daughter at the inn. The impact on Wickham of the arrival of his new daughter is profound and surprising.
As the new parents are advised not to leave the inn by their physician, Lizzy sends a message to her father and suggest that the family visit her at the inn instead. The Bennets and their daughters hurry to the inn the next day and enjoy another Christmas on Boxing Day with Lydia and Wickham.
Only one person is disappointed – the Reverend Collins who hopes to deliver his new Christmas sermon.
Book Blurb:
She’s a modern woman with a mind of her own. He’s a colonel in His Majesty’s Army and the son of an earl. Do they have a chance to make a timeless love match?
The last thing Mckenzie James expected when she visited England for her grandmother’s funeral was to find a time portal. Now, stuck two hundred years in the past, she must rely on her new friend, Miss Georgiana Darcy, to help her transform into a proper regency lady. All is going well until she meets Georgiana’s dashing cousin, Colonel Fitzwilliam. Suddenly, hiding her identity isn’t her only problem…she must protect her heart, too!
Colonel Richard Fitzwilliam wants what his cousin Darcy has- a love match. Unfortunately, society demands he marry a wealthy woman from a noble family. His duty has always been a bittersweet one, but now it is almost more than he can bear, for he is losing his heart to the mysterious Miss James.
How can such a match work? Will his family- or her secret- be the wedge that divides them…forever?
Book Blurb:
Anne de Bourgh’s life is in danger. From her own family. Her only hope is a man who claims to be from the future. His story is impossible, yet her instincts, and her heart are drawn to this stranger. Will he save her? Or will trusting him cost her everything?
Morgan James has faced his own mortality. Now, he feels like a shadow of his former self. Without purpose. Until now.
Five years ago, his sister went through a time portal on the family estate in England, and returned with her husband, Colonel Richard Fitzwilliam. He knows going through the time portal is dangerous. He also knows Anne will die a horrible death if he doesn’t.
He intends to save her. What he doesn’t plan is to fall in love with her.
But danger has followed them. Is there no time or place where they can find happiness?
Book Blurb:
Some universal truths refuse to be ignored.
Peanut butter and jelly are a match made in heaven. Spaghetti and meatballs are best friends forever. And guys like Tyler Knight don’t go for girls like Cam Emerson.
She knew from the second she met him that he didn’t belong on her bookshelf, the six-foot-six ex-tight end with a face so all-American, it could have sold apple pie. So she shelved him next to the supermodels and rock stars and took her place on her own shelf — the one with the flannel-clad, pasty-faced comic book nerds. Most of her boyfriends have existed between the pages of books, but rather than worrying over her own lacking love life, she puts all her energy into playing Cupid, using her job at the book bar, Wasted Words, as her stomping ground.
Tyler Knight always looks on the bright side. His career-ending injury turned into a job as a sports agent. A horrible breakup led him to Cam, his quirky, smart roommate who is far more beautiful than she realizes. She’s made it perfectly clear she’s not interested in him — not like that at least — but if she ever changes her mind, he won’t hesitate. Because he doesn’t see the lines she’s drawn between them, as much as she insists that they’re there. Deep down he knows that despite their differences, they’re a match well made.
Book Blurb:
Bestselling author Staci Hart is back with a brand new romantic comedy and clever spin on Jane Austen’s Pride and Prejudice. Meet the Bennet brothers, get to know Longbourne, and fall in love in this steamy enemies to lovers romcom.
Everyone hates parts of their job.
Maybe it’s the paperwork. Maybe it’s the day-to-day grind. Maybe it’s that client who never knows what they want, or the guy who always cooks fish in the microwave.
But not me. I love every corner of the Longbourne Flower Shop, every flower, every petal, every stem. I love the greenhouse, and I love Mrs. Bennet, my boss. I love creating, and I love being a florist. I don’t hate anything at all.
Except for Luke Bennet.
The Bennet brothers have come home to help their mom save the flower shop, and Luke is at the helm. His smile tells a tale of lust, loose and easy. He moves with the grace of a predator, feral and wild. A thing unbridled, without rules or constraint. When he comes home to save Longbourne, I almost can’t be mad at him. Almost.
He doesn’t remember that night I’ll never forget. That kiss, touched with whiskey and fire. It branded me like a red-hot iron. But it meant nothing to him.
Everyone hates part of their job, and I hate Luke Bennet.
Because if I don’t, I’ll fall in love with him.
